With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including executive leadership, Mike brings his deep passion for community service and supporting individuals facing life’s challenges. As the Board Chair of the Housing Okanagan Foundation, Mike leverages his extensive background in business management and leading residential construction teams to make a positive impact on our organization.
Mike believes that everyone in our community has the right to have a place to call home. His commitment to this belief drives his work on the board, where he plays a crucial role in shaping strategies that provide affordable housing solutions. Mike is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual has the resources and support they need to thrive.
Matt Cameron left New Zealand in 1986 and began his career as a Site Engineer in Australia, where he gained experience on major civil projects ranging from cooling towers to multi- story buildings. In 1988 Matt traveled overseas to the United Kingdom where he became self employed, working in both the construction and project management fields. Arriving in Canada in 1990, Matt joined Reid Crowther (purchased by Earth Tech Inc. in 2000, now AECOM) where he maintained his position as Project Manager until 2002. Matt teamed up with Gordon Savage in January, 2003 to form CTQ Consultants Ltd.
With over 30 years of experience in the civil engineering field, Matt has been involved with many aspects of engineering related to community infrastructure and real estate development from heavy reinforced concrete structures to municipal services and treatment facilities. With experience in multi-disciplinary teams as project manager and the business knowledge of Managing Partner, Matt brings numerous important skills to the Housing Okanagan Foundation Board.
Henri Cullinan brings a strategic, solutions-oriented perspective to the Housing Okanagan Foundation, backed by more than 30 years of experience in community planning, housing affordability, and large-scale land development across Western Canada and international markets. His deep knowledge of housing systems, proforma modeling, and community-building strategies aligns directly with the Foundation’s mission to advance innovative and inclusive housing solutions.
A respected leader in both public and private sector initiatives, Henri is known for his ability to bridge technical expertise with strategic vision—delivering outcomes that are economically sound, socially responsive, and culturally attuned. His integrated, human-centered approach to urban development is grounded in intelligent urbanism and cross-sector collaboration.
Henri’s capacity to connect policy, planning, and on-the-ground implementation adds practical value to the Foundation’s efforts to unlock housing supply and promote lasting community impact. He brings a global perspective and a nuanced understanding of diverse cultural contexts, with a proven ability to foster inclusive partnerships and shape vibrant, resilient, and livable communities.
